Sample Itinerary
Gospel Safari - Uganda
Day 1
Depart from USA
Day 2
Transit through Europe. Stay at the airport or go out to town but must be back in time for your flight to Entebbe, Uganda.
 Day 3 ***ARRIVE KAMPALA, UGANDA
morning: Arrive Entebbe Airport, Uganda. -You will be met by your host, Evelyn Komuntale, then a 45 minute ride to your hotel in Kampala. Suggest you do not sleep, try to stay awake and adjust to the time zone. (Uganda is 10 hours ahead of California).
afternoon: City tour
evening: Early dinner and debriefing.
 Day 4
morning: Breakfast then enjoy a 2 hour drive to the Source of River Nile in Jinja.
afternoon: Lunch by the banks of River Nile. Visit the source and the Bujagali Falls.
evening: Drive back to Kampala in time for dinner.
 Day 5 ***FORT PORTAL, Western Uganda
morning: Early departure for Fort Portal - 5 hours drive. Transfer to your hotel.
afternoon: After lunch tour of the Tooro Kingdom Palace and OTA Projects. The Tooro King Oyo appeared in the Guinness World Book of Records as the youngest king having been crowned at age three.
evening: Early dinner in an African home. Mingle with local government officials, and your hosts. Meet the people, hear the stories, touch the community and feel the joy.
 Day 6
morning: After breakfast the team will minister at a leadership seminar for local church leaders.
afternoon: Lunch and afternoon service where the team will minister according to their gifts and talents.
evening: Dinner and fellowship
 Day 7 ***RWEBISENGO VILLAGE
morning: 6:00 a.m. departure to Rwebisengo Village - right at the border of Congo and Uganda. This village has no power or running water but Outreach to Africa is making a difference there. Arrive in time for the morning church services. We will minister in 2 churches.
afternoon: Lunch - you do not have to worry about the food in the village. We make sure that it is very well supervised. Visit our OTA Medical Center and take a 20 minute drive to River Semliki. Sit by the river banks as Evelyn tells her childhood story on how she crossed that river into Uganda. A story you do not want to miss.
evening: End the day with a powerful crusade in the Rwebisengo Trading Center. Drive back for dinner and overnight in Fort Portal.
 Day 8 *** QUEEN ELIZABETH GAME PARK
morning: After breakfast, transfer into Safari Mini buses with open roofs - ready for our game viewing safari. Drive to Queen Elizabeth Game Park.
afternoon: Arrive in time for a great all you can eat lunch buffet. View some animals right from your balcony. They enjoy a 2 hour cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which joins Lake George and Edward. You will see a spectacular view of the lakes, cruise between hippos, and crocodiles could be seen on the banks of the channel. Kazinga channel is world known for its bird sanctuary.
evening: After dinner, trip debrief and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge -Resort.
 Day 9
morning: do not miss the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet served between 7am-10am!
afternoon: at leisure. Rest and enjoy the African sun by the pool.
evening: game drive. See lots of  elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and possibly lions and return in time for dinner.
overnight: same resort.
Day 10
morning: after breakfast depart for 8-hour drive to Kampala. Prepare to take great pictures as you cross the Equator.
evening: dinner and overnight in Kampala.
 Day 11
morning: after breakfast, visit some of the orphans we sponsor.
afternoon: at leisure - Shop till you drop! Pack.
evening: after the farewell dinner, you will be taken to the PRAYER MOUNTAIN - where people pray around the clock. A few hours there will change your life!
Day 12
Departure for Entebbe airport to arrive in time for your flight to Europe. Depending on the airline used, you may have to spend 1 night in Europe.
Day 13
Depart from Europe to USA.
